We’re very excited to launch a new Academy dedicated to helping Valorant players improve their aim. If you’ve been playing the game for hours in pursuit of ranking up and reaching Platinum with little luck, then this training mode is for you. This would be the first game-specific training environment offered on our web-based platform.
The new academy is divided into 10 training levels that accurately replicate locations in the game, spread out across 5 different maps to help you train in an environment identical to Valorant. We’re basically adding fun in the fundamentals of aim training for Valorant!
The training environment is as close as it gets to playing Valorant even to the following details:
- Movement: Your movement whether walking, running, jumping, strafing, or crouching is the same as the actual characters in Valorant, even bullet tagging is accounted for! Obviously, we’ve provided the humanoid targets with the same movement behavior.
- Weapons: We’ve re-engineered all weapon characteristics that Valorant provides from obvious ones like fire rate, clip size and reload time to the advanced mechanics like recoil patterns, spread, and 2nd fire modes.
So without further ado, the training levels and their corresponding locations are:
Level 1: Target Acquisition
Location: Haven – C Site
In the first training level, you’ll find yourself on Haven C Site in a fixed position.
When the level starts, 8 targets spawn in plain sight. The targets don’t move or shoot. When you successfully shoot a target, a new target spawns. Your mission is to inflict as much damage as possible within a certain amount of time. The duration of this training session is 60 seconds, so you better be fast!
Level 2: Reaction Flick
Location: Ascent – B Site
Here you’ll find yourself on Ascent B Site in a fixed position with 1 target popping up randomly in plain sight on the yard for a limited amount of time. When the time is up the target will disappear and a new one will spawn within a certain time range. The goal is to shoot the target as fast as possible and within the time limit (also 60 seconds) in order to score the biggest amount of points. Once you successfully complete this level, you’re off to the next one which means an increase in difficulty.
Level 3: Click Timing
Location: Haven – C Garage: Double Door
The training session takes place in the famous Haven Double Door area in a fixed position with 1 target at a time passing the door for a limited amount of time, while shooting at you. If the target isn’t neutralized by the player within the time limit then it will auto-destroy and a new target will spawn in its place. Your task is to shoot the target as fast as possible and within the time limit in order to score high and move up to the next level.
Level 4: Strafe Reaction Flick
Location: Ascent – A Site
In the fourth level of the Academy, you’ll find yourself on Ascent – a site in a fixed position with 1 target popping up somewhere in plain sight on the yard and starts moving the moment he spawns. When the time limit is reached the target will disappear and a new one will spawn within a variable time range.
You need to shoot the target as fast as possible in order to score big.
Level 5: Target Peek
Location: Bind – A Site
The player finds himself on Bind – A Site in a fixed position with 1 target that spawns somewhere behind cover and starts moving within the player’s view. Upon line of sight with the player, the target will start shooting towards him. If the target has not been killed by then it starts moving back into cover. This process repeats itself until the target is neutralized or auto-destroyed, making room for a new target that spawns with a variable spawn delay. The player needs to shoot the target as fast as possible in order to receive the least amount of damage.
Level 6: Dual Flick
Location: Ascent – Mid Bottom: Courtyard
In the most open-ended map in Valorant; Ascent – Courtyard, you can move in a fixed area around the proximity of the gate but cannot enter it. 2 Targets spawn at the same moment and start strafing in a random way whilst shooting towards you. Your mission is to kill the targets as efficiently as possible with the least amount of damage taken.
Level 7: Dual Target Peek
Location: Icebox – B Site
Here you’ll find yourself on Icebox – B Site in a fixed position with 2 targets that spawn somewhere behind cover and start moving within your field of view.
When in line of sight, the targets will start shooting towards you. If the targets aren’t being killed by then, they start moving back into cover. This process repeats itself until both targets are neutralized our auto-destroyed when out of time, the target will disappear making room for a new target that spawns with a variable spawn delay. Your goal is to shoot the target as fast as possible and within the time limit in order to move up the leaderboards.
Level 8: Player Peek
Location: Split – B Site
This level takes place on Split – B Bomb Site, where you can move in a fixed area around the proximity of the middle tower wall but cannot walk beyond it. Targets are spawning 1 at the time alternating left and right of the tower.
When acquiring a line of sight, the target will start shooting at you. You need to kill the targets as efficiently as possible by peeking whilst taking the least amount of damage.
Level 9: Bombsite Rush
Location: Split – A Site
You’ll find yourself on the entry point of bombsite Split – A where you can move around freely. 5 targets will be covering the bombsite from a fixed position and will shoot at you when you’re entering their line of sight.
It’s your job to neutralize all targets as efficiently as possible by taking the least amount of damage and reaching the plant point within the time limit.
Level 10: Map Split-B
Location: Map Split-B
The final and most challenging level takes place on the attacker’s side of the map Split-B site where you can move around freely. 5 targets will be covering the path and bombsite from a fixed position and will shoot at you as soon as you are within their line of sight. Your task is to neutralize all targets as efficiently as possible by taking the least amount of damage and reaching the plant point within the time limit.
